Movement and Caliber Performance

Since 2025, APS Factory has brought us many surprises; The biggest one must be the super clone 4401 mechanism that they developed and then used in the AP26240 and 26420. From past to present, APS Factory has always managed to offer us good movements and they maintain this beautiful tradition. Last time, I remember they also developed a mechanism for AP 26331; I don't even think it's a super clone mechanism. But I really hope that this super clone 69385 for IWC Pilot Chronograph watches will be a great success, just like the 4401; After all, many watch enthusiasts have been waiting for these IWC Pilot Chronograph watches for a long time.

Case and Body Workmanship

The new IWC Pilot Chronograph replica watches produced by APS Factory have three models: blue dial, green dial and black dial; Each comes with two strap options: stainless steel bracelet and leather strap. In the introduction, APS Factory claims that the movement factory spent three years researching and finally developed the original IWC Caliber, every part is interchangeable with the original movement. This is a bit of an exaggeration, but I think this mechanism will be better than the one used in AP 26331. The structure of mechanisms is often complex; I don't know much about it, but looking at the movement comparison photo below, this clone 69385 movement looks very close to the original Caliber. Most importantly, the balance wheel is located in position 8; This is exactly the same as the original mechanism.

As for the watch's functions, APS Factory has done them right. Every function is the same as the original. We know that some factories had produced these Pilot Chronograph IWC replica watches before, such as those made by TW Factory, but their functions were wrong; There was a small fixed hour hand in the subdial at position 6, and the small seconds hand operated in the subdial at position 9. This is a major flaw that you can immediately notice when looking at the dial. Now in the APS Factory version, the red small seconds dial works on the subdial at the 6 position; The other two small dials serve as a 30-minute chronograph counter at position 12 and a 12-hour chronograph counter at position 9.

The case size of the watch is correct; Its diameter is 41 mm and its thickness is 14.5 mm. Sapphire glass has a blue anti-reflective coating. The watch comes with a quick-disconnect strap. However, there is a flaw in the case; One of the inner edges of the ear is too sharp. Look at the photo below, marked in red.
