IWC Pilot APS Factory Review

The IWC Pilot model is produced by APS Factory with a high-tech ceramic case, standard case diameter and high-precision automatic Super Clone mechanism architecture. It is among the most successful 1:1 super clone watch reviews on the market, with its sapphire crystal AR coating glass, original case tolerances and detailed workmanship.

First of all, I need to point out that the measurement data of these two models are not the same. The white ceramic is noticeably slightly larger than the black ceramic. The original size of this model is 44.5. The diameter of the APS is also 44.5, exactly the same as the original. Let's look at its thickness, it is around 15.5; It is also identical to the original. As for the size of the black model, the original diameter of this black one is 41.9, which is around 42. This is an extremely accurate measurement. When we look at their thickness, the thickness of the two models is the same, only their diameters are slightly different. So, if your wrist is a little thick, I recommend you choose white ceramic, if your wrist is a little thin, I recommend you choose black ceramic.

Strap, Buckle and Comfort

There is another difference: the black model uses a pin buckle, while the white model uses a folding buckle; The position of the belt connection is also correct. Generally, in IWCs with pin buckles, the connection is at the top; For those with folding buckles, the strap buckle remains at the bottom, just like this Portuguese 7. Dial and Hand Details

Let's look at the details of the two watches: both have a black dial surface and are identical to the original. This is the seconds hand at 6 o'clock; This is the small seconds and the color is red. Then the large seconds hand is for the chronograph; This seconds hand normally stops, but rotates when you start the chronograph. That's the chronograph minute dial; And this is the chronograph watch dial. If you are not going to use it normally, do not open it as much as possible. Case and Body Workmanship

The watch has a full ceramic case; The strap workmanship is also very well done, and the texture is identical to the original. Since the case back is closed, you cannot see the mechanism and the upper bridge. The relief effect of these engraved inscriptions on the back of the case is also quite successful.

This texture of the ceramic is also very well done; Everything is fine, including these logos on the crown.

Now let's look at the buckle part; The original folding clasp is also perfect, the feeling of opening and closing is also very good. All the necessary engravings are present, and the embossed effect of this logo is also quite good.

General Evaluation and Conclusion

In general, the workmanship is very good. I would not recommend this 44.5 model to those with wrists under 16.5 cm; Because it may look a little big when you wear it. Most people can easily carry this 41.9 size black ceramic; This is a model with a pin buckle and the texture of the black ceramic is quite nice. As long as you do not bump or drop such ceramics, they remain like new even after wearing them for several years; So it is not afraid of scratching.
