An ETA watch is a watch with an ETA calibre (or a copy with ETA written in the advertisement). ETA watches are the plural of the same subject: Swiss-made calibers and movements produced in Asia and sold as ETA. This page separates the two; You don't look at the dial text, you look at the mechanism.
ETA is Switzerland's largest movement manufacturer. There are Asia copies with ETA 2824-2, 2836-2, 2892-A2, 7750 in the archive. Those that say “ETA 3235” or “ETA 4131” in the ads are not ETA products — they are replica Rolex calibers, listed separately.
