The APS 26420 has an obvious blue AR coating on its glass, whereas on the original watch the anti-reflective coating doesn't look that blue.

There are large squares on the dial, each square has subtle vertical patterns when viewed closely, each square has an “X” in the corner that merges seamlessly with each other. Even if you look carefully, there is no burr on the edge of each square. However, the axes of the hour and minute hands look slightly different from those of the original watch; In the original watch, the solid axis pin is smaller and looks more prominent.

Strap, Buckle and Comfort

As for the date window, the deep cutout in the style of the original is not so noticeable on the replica 26420.

The bracelet is easily removed thanks to the quick-release system, but APS does not offer an extra leather strap for the watch; The watch has only a rubber bracelet.

Movement and Caliber Performance

The movement is a super clone 4401 and is currently only used by APS Factory. Used by APS in AP 26240 and 26420. The previous 4401 has some differences with the original AP 4401 Caliber, especially in the balance wheel; APS 4401 has a regulator and no weights. The upgraded V2 4401 is rumored to be coming soon, the governor will be removed and weights added to the balance wheel; then the 4401 will look much closer to the original AP 4401 Caliber.
