VS Factory Omega new Seamaster 300M ceramic dial, 8800 movement watch review

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M model is produced by VS Factory with a solid 316L stainless steel case, 42 mm diameter and ETA 2836-2 caliber in Swiss norms architecture. It is among the most successful 1:1 super clone watch reviews on the market, with its sapphire crystal AR coating glass, original case tolerances and detailed workmanship.

Case and Body Workmanship

"White enamel" workmanship was preferred for the hour markers and font on the ceramic bezel; It does not yellow easily, is long-lasting and extremely bright. In the v2 version, the lume point inside the inverted triangle on the bezel has been corrected compared to the old version, it is no longer crooked!

The ceramic surface of the dial has a very strong texture and the ceramic does not discolour at all; VS follows its steps closely, using the same material. Water wave pattern was preferred on the dial; It looks a bit like a forehead wrinkle, this element is used in all of Omega's diving watches this year, and this gives the watch a more sporty atmosphere. Round nail-shaped hour markers are embedded on the dial; Compared to the old model, the size of the signs has been enlarged, and the hour and minute hands in the form of a carved broad sword have also been enlarged, making it easier to read the time. The dial markers and hour and minute hands have lume and are applied homogeneously.

Glass and Sapphire Crystal

The sapphire glass has a blue coating on both sides, front and back; It looks very nice under the light. The date window has been moved to position 6 from position 3 in the old model; Oblique cut workmanship was used on the window, the sense of layering is extremely strong with a structure that is wide on the outside and narrow on the inside. The polishing and brushing texture on the side surface of the stainless steel case is extremely good; Both the color and touch are top notch. The appearance of the "conical" air release valve, located on the right side of the new Seamaster 300, is better than the old model!

The double shoulder finish on both sides of the winding crown at position 3 looks quite flawless, along with the curve of the case lugs. The transparent case back is attached by tightening with a screw structure. Unlike VS Factory's Omega Seamaster 150 meters, the Seamaster 300 does not use a single-piece movement; It is modified from the Seagull 2836 caliber and uses the same caliber 8800 as the original.
