Omega 8806 OR Factory Review

The Omega Wristwatch 8806 model is produced by OR Factory with a special alloy bronze case, standard case diameter and high precision automatic Super Clone mechanism architecture. It is among the most successful 1:1 super clone watch reviews on the market, with its sapphire crystal AR coating glass, original case tolerances and detailed workmanship.

OR Factory announced in mid-July that it would develop the 8800/8806 movement; Now the watches are really out. The standard Seamaster 300m models use the free-sprung 8800 movement, while the Seamaster No Time to Die and Bronze Gold models use the free-sprung 8806 movement. The structure of both movements is the same, only the movement number engraved on them is different.

Today I want to show you the green Bronze Gold Seamaster and compare it with an original watch. Actually, I have introduced this watch from OR Factory before; At that time OR used a standard clone 8806 movement with an additional regulator added above the balance wheel. Before we begin our comparison review today, please take a look at the photos of the new free-sprung 8800 movement below.

Two hours: guess which is the original and which is the replica. You must have watched the comparison videos between these two watches on the internet. Yes, we can see OR Factory's ambition this time; They really want to surpass VS Factory and become the boss of the replica Seamaster space. They loaned this original green Seamaster to many dealers for “original vs replica review”. Many sellers said that this replica is perfect and no different from the original, but this is not true.

There is a difference in the center pin. On the original the tip of the center pin is very well hidden and almost unnoticeable, whereas on this OR Seamaster the tip of the center pin sticks out and is clearly visible.

In the replica, the tip of the seconds hand has a brighter color.

There are definitely other differences that I haven't mentioned before, but let's look at the mechanism difference now.

The original 8806 movement has the “OMEGA” lettering and logo engraved on the balance wheel and Si inscriptions; please see the mechanism photo above, I marked them with a red arrow.

In the replica, you can see that there is no engraving on the balance wheel like in the original. Also, although OR Factory has added two weights to the balance, the surface of these weights is flat; In the original, the weight surface was grooved.

Besides the weight, there is another place different on the replica movement, which I marked with a red arrow: it is protruding, whereas in the original it looks flat or slightly sunken.

Finally, let's use a Timegrapher to demonstrate the features of both movements.

If you have an original watch and compare it side by side with this replica, you can find many differences. I couldn't fit all the differences into this article. Since this Omega Seamaster has a transparent case back, I think OR Factory's replica will look closer to the original than VS Factory's.
