The tropical rubber strap fits wrists up to 8.5 inches, is soft to the touch and extremely comfortable when worn.

The 42.2mm case, in an almost cushion-cut form, uses a combination of fine brushed and polished workmanship; It also has a polished screw-down winding crown to increase water resistance. This larger, more masculine-looking size fits perfectly with the trend for larger case sizes that is gaining momentum even at the big three watch manufacturers.

The case is made of 18 carat white gold. It features a satin-trimmed bezel and polished crown guards that protrude from the right side of the watch case to protect the polished crown. The crown is decorated with the Calatrava cross, as are the buckle and the self-winding rotor in the watch's movement; it is a symbol and testament to Patek Philippe's commitment to horological excellence.

While its name, screw-down crown and rubber strap suggest this is a professional diving watch, 120 m / 400 ft water resistance shows that this watch actually appeals to a different niche.
