Signs section

As long as the brown part intersects with the number 8 and the intersection does not exceed 0 in the upper and lower two magnitudes inside the 8 mark, this is original workmanship. Because in a double-color fired ceramic bezel, it is necessary to take into account the shrinkage rate of the ceramic; It is very difficult to keep the measure even in the original.

Three-piece junction links

Three-piece combination links are also Clean's own invention; The technical requirements are high and the production difficulty is great. So much so that in the end we almost came to stop this technique. The advantage is this: even if you remove the links, the inside remains in rose gold color. There is quite a lot of wastage during the assembly and processing stages.
The entire rose gold color is 18k vacuum coating, it does not discolour easily. In the Clean two-tone waterproof model from two years ago, watches returned after sales still retained their original color, without extensive discoloration. In a way, this shows that it has stood the test of time.

The pods section is again a three-part combination; That is, originally a single link produced by CNC, here it is divided into three separate parts and then assembled. It also needs to fit perfectly with the case; The size of the two sides and the curve requirement are extremely high.

Rolex's hands look almost the same from the outside, but when you take them apart and measure them, the data for each model is slightly different. When developing, Clean always purchases two originals at a time; disassembles one and keeps the other as a finished product reference.

Yes, you saw that right: in the original, the inner shadow of the crown does not fall exactly at the 12 hour mark. This is not an isolated case, it is the case with many originals. This isn't because the original had poor quality control; The 2.5x magnifying date window at mark 3 needs to be adjusted as accurately as possible, for this the mechanism must be rotated by a certain angle. Therefore, one has to make a choice between adjusting either the inner shadow or the date properly. Of course, there are also those whose history does not fit properly in the original. You will almost never find the original crown matching exactly as it does in the photo. So I ask customers who are obsessed with this topic to consider this as a reference. This is not a strict acceptance criterion.
