Development of the Clean factory

Before Clean came along, Noob and AR were making the best Submariner replicas; These two factories are now closed. The Submariner produced by Noob and AR at that time had two major flaws: first, the tone of the hour markers on the bezel faded; Secondly, the color green was not correct. A seller of replica watches in the market saw a business opportunity that would make a lot of money by producing a better ceramic bezel for the Submariner. In 2019, he made a green ceramic bezel and sold it under the name "Clean"; The green ceramic bezel became an instant hit on the market, especially among watch enthusiasts who do custom work. This was the first green ceramic bezel that had the green color closest to the original and whose hour markers did not fade. He earned some money by selling these bezels. At that time, Noob had been selling the 4130 Daytona for a while, but the bezels on the Daytona were not very good; so a few months later Clean made a ceramic bezel for the white Panda Daytona 116500LN. At the same time, Clean also released its first generation Submariner and sold it under the name "ZZF". At the time, Clean couldn't compete with Noob and AR in the Submariner space; Later, Noob and AR developed a ceramic bezel that they claimed would not fade.

Movement and Caliber Performance

At the end of 2020, Clean announced the release of GMT-Master replica watches with clone 3186 movement, but did not make them available until summer 2021. Throughout 2019, Submariner competition was between Noob, AR, and ZZ; Later, VS factory also released the Submariner with the latest Dandong 3135 movement. This mechanism was more stable and caused fewer problems than the mechanism used in the ZZF Submariner. Although VS's Submariner is not as good in workmanship as the Sub from ZZF, especially the green color on the ceramic bezel on the hulk Submariner is not as good as on the ZZF 116610LV, thanks to its better movement, better quality control and higher reputation, VS still surpassed the Clean and became the second largest supplier of the super clone Rolex Submariner; Noob held the largest market share. Clean's ZZF Submariner was still not very popular.

During development, Clean updated all of its Submariners with the second-generation Shanghai 3135 movement; From that moment on, Submariner sales decided to no longer use the "ZZF" name, but directly use the "Clean" name. This is how the heated rivalry between Clean and VS began. An interesting thing happened during their competition: VS found the factory that had always supplied Clean with ceramic bezels. Subsequently, VS developed the Dandong 3235 movement and used it first in the 42 mm YachtMaster, then in its new 41 mm Submariner and Datejust. Seeing the rapid development of VS, Clean took action and developed a Shanghai 3235 movement; The decoration of this movement was not as beautiful as VS's Dandong 3235 movement. The Shanghai 3235 movement had a power reserve of approximately 45 hours; This was shorter than the 72 hours of the Dandong 3235 movement. At this point, Noob and AR could not follow in the footsteps of VS and Clean, although they still had a large number of customers.

In March or April of 2020, I don't remember exactly which month, Noob and AR had to close down due to a raid, then VS also closed down. Now only Clean remained. Before this raid, Clean was definitely not as famous as Noob, AR and VS; However, the three subsequent moves made by Clean made them the boss of the market. First, they accepted all orders for the Dandong 4130 movement, which was previously only supplied to Noob; Clean started selling the Daytona with Dandong 4130 movement at the end of 2021, and this Daytona was much better than what Noob had made before. Secondly, Clean decided to use the Dandong 3135 movement in their Submariners. From then on the Clean completely surpassed the VS in 40mm Submariner. Thirdly, in about 2022, Clean improved the Dandong 3285 movement and continued to improve GMT-Master replicas. Clean is now the boss of super clone Rolex; The VS, on the other hand, can only compete with the Clean because it still has the Dandong 3235 movement. Clean was an immediate success; In addition to superior quality, luck also played an important role.
