This is a watch that is as stunning inside as it is outside. A solid gold watch that bears the weight of heavy metal. Although you can feel how solid it is on the wrist, it actually sits extremely comfortably. The side of the case is slightly curved and the lugs slope slightly downward from the sides. The watch comes with an alligator leather strap and, unlike the Royal Oak, has an articulated pin buckle.

Movement: Audemars Piguet 2908 caliber

This is a visually stunning watch and features a caliber composed of 267 parts in 33 jewels, with a power reserve of approximately 90 hours.

There is a specific reason why they call it the Audemars Piguet Tong; platform escapement seen from inside the dial. It's just that good. Instead of a traditional Swiss impact tong, this direct impact tong; It uses less energy by placing the lever on the side of the chainstay mechanism and using it as a switching mechanism that turns the flow of power on and off between the balance and the chainstay wheel.

This allows for a higher pulsating 6Hz clock that can vibrate at 43,200 VpH without using explosive amounts of energy like the standard fork. If you tried to run a traditional curling iron at 6Hz, the oils would splatter everywhere; whereas the AP fork performs higher vibrations with less energy. Dial: Grande Faux Enamel Dial

The dial is something you will admire for hours (the same goes for the case back, by the way). On the dial, you can see a power reserve indicator, the double mainspring box on either side of the dial, the small seconds subdial, and the Audemars Piguet escapement, which was first designed in the 1700s, in the lower right corner.

It's a huge dial and has a surreal look, but it's a very balanced look. 18k white gold guilloche rose inlay dial and as with all things naturally beautiful; You can find the Fibonacci sequence in the pattern. Grande faux enamel dial is a very difficult process to achieve. The enamel dial has a very high rejection rate due to the intense heat of 800 degrees.

During production, these enamel dials often crack and bubble in the fire; so for each one that comes out perfect and is made into a dial, you can be sure that they are tough as nails. The enamel dial uses Roman numerals, a railroad minute scale, and leaf-shaped hour and minute hands.
