RC Day-Date Part II

The Rolex Day-Date model is produced by the leading Super Clone manufacturer workshops with an 18K thick gold-plated case, standard case diameter and high-precision automatic Super Clone movement architecture. It is among the most successful 1:1 super clone watch reviews on the market, with its sapphire crystal AR coating glass, original case tolerances and detailed workmanship.

Before I start my work today, I want to say something: some factories deceive customers with exaggerated or false claims. Let's take the CBD factory's Day-Date model as an example. In their advertisements, as far as I remember, they said that there would be no problem of the case peeling in Day-Date models; But when you examine the workmanship of the bracelet, you will see that they are lying. Please see the first picture below, these pods have been ripped from a Day-Date produced by CBD. It's a gold-colored watch, but not every link is completely gold-plated; Also each pod has two layers, you can see the distinct gap between them. The inner material is probably tungsten steel, while the outer part is wrapped in stainless steel; These two materials cannot fuse into a single piece, so cracks form between them. So when CBD said there would be no peeling issues with Day-Date models, it was a lie.

Now let's look at the Day-Date model from the RC Factory. I think their current Day-Dates look better than those produced by THB and CBD, both of which have stripping issues. Their prices are very expensive, so it is not worth buying. At the moment RC's Day-Date looks good and is worth a try. The weighted Day-Date models from GM and QF are also worth buying and are the most cost-effective.

The weight of the entire watch is about 208.3 grams, this is a gold Day-Date; The gold tone looks nice, is not shiny and is very close to the gold color on the original Rolex.

Case and Body Workmanship

The case is not thick, measuring around 12.3mm to 12.6mm. I thought it would be much thicker, but after measuring the actual watch I found that the case was not thickened.

The case of the watch weighs approximately 102 grams, 101.8 grams to be exact.

Movement and Caliber Performance

The movement inside is a SH3255; When I open the case back and weigh the case, it reaches 102.1 grams.

Case back weighs 27.7 grams; Extra weight has been added to the back of an ordinary case.

The bracelet weighs 106.1 grams.

Each pod weighs 3.2 grams.

Each pod is fully gold plated, no stainless steel part you can see, no crack gap in the pod; This is much better than the one in CBD Day-Date. So what materials did they use to make the bracelet? They are very well integrated.

This is my second review of the RC Day-Date. I think it's a good watch, but we still need more time to see if there will be any peeling issues with this watch. I will follow up on this and share my third review.
